Experience behind Brendonhill
Build the room.
An invitation-only TIFF gathering designed so the value of the room continues long after the last guest leaves.

The context
The Black Ball’s value was never simply the party. Its real value was concentration: film, culture, brands, talent, executives, artists and emerging voices sharing one deliberately curated room during TIFF.
Production could begin before the full revenue stack was secured, while the guest experience still had to feel credible to talent, studio executives and major partners. The event could not feel improvised, overbranded or disconnected from the community it was built to serve.
The product was access, trust and cultural relevance. When the guest mix, sponsor integration and environment were right, the event became both a relationship engine and a repeatable piece of IP.
Where responsibility sat
Led sponsorship conversations and partner integration.
Managed venue and vendor acquisition, production planning and day-of coordination.
Built and managed invitation strategy and guest-list operations.
Oversaw social rollout and partner-facing deliverables.
Integrated partners across branding, press, VIP hospitality, social content and the on-site experience.
What the event established
The value was built through official positioning, repeat editions, an intentionally curated guest mix and integrated partner delivery.
Beyond the deliverable
A room can be designed as an asset—where culture, relationships and revenue reinforce one another.
Year-specific relationships
The partner record is kept by year rather than collapsed into one undifferentiated sponsor wall.

Additional 2025 partner: MISC Inc.
